SD-Gold proposes to implement the double-zero strategy, i.e. zero working casualty and zero major environmental pollution accident, scientifically renovates and enhances the mine production system and safety facilities to maintain the stable safe production situation. 46% exceeding the national standard is used for the enterprise to develop the safety and environmental protection work. During the “13th Five-year Plan” period, the company increases the investment by 15% every year to let each mine have the blossoming flowers, green trees, clear water, and make the greening coverage in the core mine area reach more than 90% and carry out vegetation greening in the tailings pond dam body. So far, 7 mines have won the title of “national green mine” by Ministry of Land and Resources. Till 2020, all mines of SD-Gold will reach the standard of green mines.
